Q.1 What role do you think vulnerability plays in the creative process, particularly in poetry?
Vulnerability is essential in the creative process, particularly in poetry, as it opens the door to raw, authentic expression. By embracing personal emotions, fears, and experiences, poets can connect deeply with their audience, creating work that resonates on an intimate level. Vulnerability allows the poet to explore difficult, often unspoken truths, leading to honest self-reflection and emotional depth. This openness fosters creativity, breaking through conventional boundaries and enabling unique, compelling narratives. In essence, vulnerability transforms personal struggles into universal insights, making poetry not just an art form, but a bridge between the poet’s inner world and the reader’s.
Q.2 In what ways do you see the author reflecting on their personal journey through the poems?
I embark on a deeply personal journey through my poems, revealing the fragile layers of my soul. Each verse is a window into my struggles, triumphs, and quiet moments of self-discovery. My words pulse with raw emotion—grief, hope, love, and resilience—capturing the essence of my inner world. Through this intimate reflection, I invite readers to walk beside me, finding solace in our shared human experiences and the transformative power of vulnerability in the face of life’s challenges.
Q 3. Given the complex publishing process in India, what was your experience?
The usual publishing procedure is very very hectic but the publishing process with Paper Towns Publication was incredibly smooth and efficient. From submission to final approval, every step was handled with professionalism and care. Their team was responsive, offering clear guidance and support, making the entire experience stress-free. The ease with which my work was brought to life exceeded my expectations, and I felt valued as an author throughout the process. I highly recommend Paper Towns Publication for anyone looking for a seamless and rewarding publishing journey.
Q 4. How do you connect with the theme of hope throughout the collection, especially in the context of personal struggles?
Through the shadows I wandered, yet hope remained my guide, A flicker in the darkness where despair tried to hide. In each verse, I wove dreams from threads worn thin, A quiet whisper of light where doubt had once been. Hope has been the constant thread woven through my poetry, even in the face of my deepest personal struggles. With each hardship, I found myself turning to words as a way to seek light amid the shadows. My poems reflect that journey—moments where I felt broken, but hope gently mended the pieces. It’s not always loud or triumphant, but a quiet, steady presence. Through my collection, I’ve come to realize that hope isn’t the absence of pain, but the courage to believe in healing, even when the wounds still ache.
Q 5 Have you ever experienced a moment of transformation similar to those depicted in the collection? How did it change you?
There was a moment, quiet yet profound, when my life shifted. I stood at the edge of the ocean, my feet sinking into wet sand as waves lapped at the shore. It was dusk, the sky ablaze with hues of amber and violet, mirroring the turmoil within me. I had spent years runing—escaping pain, disappointment, the weight of unspoken dreams and rigorously trying to seek validation for my very existence. But in that instant, watching the tide pull away, something in me let go.
It was as if the ocean took with it all my fears and self-doubt, leaving behind a sense of clarity. I realized that life, like the sea, ebbs and flows, and I had been resisting its natural course. In surrender, I found strength. That evening changed me. I walked away from the shore with a heart open to uncertainty, trusting that whatever came, I could rise and meet it.

Q 8 Describe a lesser-known aspect of Reemanshi.
I grapple with the feelings of vulnerability and insecurity at a lot of instances but then I know to mask them pretty confidently underneath my smile. I am a very guarded person and don’t easily open up to people, I let a very few people inside my circle and all for a reason I want people to see me beyond superfluous parameters. I crave for deeper human connection that are absolutely unfiltered.
