The shared passion and love for reading brought readers and authors from all over India to a readers’ meet-and-greet planned as a trip in the mountains. It was our third readers’ trip, this time on the occasion of International Literacy Day.

These readers’ trips were started in 2017 with just seven people to bring together our readers’ community. This year, about twenty people attended this trip.

“Readers spent three days filled with discussions on books ranging from Chacha Chaudhary to Murakami over bonfires,” says Narendra Singh, the group’s founder. “Such a meet-up imbibes in us qualities like patience, communication skills, our ability to express ourselves better and broadens our horizons of understanding and empathy,” he said.
